This schedule describes the default retention periods used by topadroi. Customer-configured destinations may retain data under their own terms; customers are responsible for those downstream platforms.
Service event data
- Pending event archive: up to 14 days while retry, queue, or dispatch processing completes.
- Archived event records: up to 90 days for delivery status, troubleshooting, audit, and replay support.
- Retry and dead-letter diagnostics: generally up to 7 days unless required for incident investigation.
- Metrics and usage records: Operational metrics are retained in our database for up to 60 days; aggregated or compressed records may be retained longer where needed for billing, capacity planning, or abuse prevention.
Identity and account records
- Anonymous identity mappings: up to 30 days.
- Member identity mappings: up to 730 days, unless deleted earlier through customer configuration or a verified deletion request.
- Tenant account activity and security logs: up to 730 days for audit, fraud prevention, security, and support.
- Password reset tokens: one-time use and expire after approximately 1 hour.
Billing, support, and compliance
- Billing, subscription, refund, and dispute records: retained as required for tax, accounting, payment-dispute, and legal compliance.
- Webhook idempotency records: typically 7 to 90 days depending on the payment provider retry window.
- Support communications: retained while needed to provide support and maintain business records.
- Compliance audit records: retained according to applicable compliance obligations; HIPAA-specific compliance templates reference up to 7 years where that program is enabled.
Deletion
When a retention period expires, records are deleted or anonymized through scheduled jobs or lifecycle controls. Backups and replicated storage may take additional time to expire, but are not used for ordinary processing after deletion from production systems.
